Journal: Wednesday, November 12

Today, we watched the Behind the Scenes for the intro for the drama, Six Feet Under. I found the music, coupled with the video, made the series seem very suspenseful. However, one concern that I have for it is that it may be too long, and would bore any viewer after watching dozens and dozens of times.

Journal: Tuesday, November 11

Today, we continued to shoot. I continued adding shots into the slide, while the rest of the group continues to shoot the remaining shots.

Journal: Friday, November 7

Today, we continued doing our shots, while I was editing in the room. I added more titles and whatever clips we had, and also importing anything we shot that day. Nothing interesting…just the same old thing I guess, as the Drama presentation cut into a lot of our time.

Journal: Thursday, November 6

Today, I actually did better than expected in the quiz. I obtained a 90%, which is higher than my 2 other quizes in Audio and Graphics, although it is still lower than my average nonetheless. We continued shooting, although we did not get too much done, as Mr. Meldazy needed to use our camcorder for something.

Journal: Wednesday, November 5

Today, I headed into the editing room, as we had enough shots to start getting used to iMovie, while the others continued shooting. I found iMovie was fairly easy to adjust to, as it is seemingly a combination of Windows Movie Maker and GarageBand in which I have just recently used.

Journal: Tuesday, November 4

Today, we went out into the halls and took many shots. We shot with the useles fade function, the still picture, the macro function, normal angle shooting, high angle shooting, arcing, dollying, shooting a fast moving object, shooting with the zoom function, and the three closer field-of-view shots.

Journal: Monday, November 3

As it is now the first day of November, we have started shooting for our video project. We finished the low and high angle shots today, as we had some trouble with some of the equipment, and the lighting reflected off our object, thus not producing a nice image.

Today, we continued on deciding on what do for the shots. Nothing too much really today, since it’s Halloween, and noone is really in the mood to do anything anyhow.

Today, we finished many of the remaining worksheets. The shot list was pretty much finished, and the dolly/camcorder worksheet was too.

Journal: Tuesday, October 28

Today, we started on our worksheets. The Shot List seems very exhaustive and detailed, while the Dolly/Camcorder operation worksheet looked more like an extended definitions list. Boring, but it’s the process that makes a good final product.
